Kallenhardt
Biebertal
In the center of the beautiful village of Kallenhardt, the path leads past the church and beautiful small half-timbered houses, out into the countryside. When you leave the village, you have a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape - first down into the valley and then back up to Calvary.
The route also passes the DPSG grounds and the Eulenspeigel. The newly built St. George's Chapel is a side trip worth seeing because of its unusual architecture.
In front of the Kruhberg, the trail continues to meander gently downhill toward Bibertal. Here, the Biberbad or the Bibercafe invites you to take a short break before continuing along the rest of the route!
Kallenhardt - Beaver Valley
Information about the rescue boards on the Sauerland-WaldrouteMostly hiking trails run away from villages and settlements and every hiker has already thought about what would happen if there was an emergency. How can I be found here? Where am I at all? Can the rescue service reach me?But in an emergency, things have to happen quickly! That's why the Sauerland-Waldroute is equipped with so-called rescue signs throughout. On the green and white plaques, which are attached to the posts of the signposts, there is a number that you have to give when you make your emergency call. This way, the emergency services know exactly where you are and valuable time can be saved.
Both points are connected and accessible by local bus service.
From the direction of Warstein and from the direction of Anröchte you can reach the village of Kallenhardt via the B55 and then via the county road. The Bibertal can also be reached via the B516.
There are numerous free parking spaces available in the Bibertal. In Kallenhardt there is the possibility of parking at some selected places - free of charge and paid.
