The market square with Geschichtsbrunnen, historical town model, St. Nicholas Church, approx. 3 km of town wall foundations with tower remains, town moat with historical Jewish burial ground, old town gate, St. Johanneskirche, remains of the foundations of the former Rüthen castle, Hexenturm, water tower with viewing platform at a height of 29 m, former Capuchin monastery with garden grounds, former Ursuline convent, old baroque town hall with unique circular staircase and numerous historic half-timbered houses are just some of Rüthen's many sights.
